Iranian Culture Minister Invited to Pakistan
Memon extended the invitation during a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Islamabad Seyed Sirajuddin Mousavi, who called on him at his office in Islamabad, IRNA reported.
He was of the view that there was a lot of room for both countries to further expand their mutual relations in view of common religious, cultural and geographical proximity and other commonalties.

Reciprocating to observations made by Memon, the Iranian ambassador said that his country was ready for further strengthening of relations with Pakistan in all fields, including culture and media.
Sirajuddin Mousavi expressed his opinion that both countries should benefit a lot from boosting their mutual cooperation for which the conditions were conducive.
"Iran and Pakistan can gain a lot by mutual cooperation, particularly in the development of political and economic ties," he maintained.
He laid stress on development of closer relations between the peoples of the two countries in the private sector to explore potential of cooperation.
The ambassador told the Pakistani minister that cultural and media organizations in Iran were ready to expand their cooperation with Pakistan.
In this context, he firmly said that joint cultural and art productions in the field of producing film serials can help the two countries to further identify the field of cooperation and progress.
He also said that Iran was ready to make a film serial in cooperation with Pakistan on the life of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the poet and philosopher of the East.
